About
The DataHub SSH programme is a joint initiative by research theme Institutions for Open Societies (IOS) and the Centre for Digital Humanities (CDH), to stimulate the development and deployment of digital research infrastructures. For both IOS and CDH, interdisciplinary research lies at the core of their activities.
The central goal of the Datahub SSH programme is to develop several technical and knowledge infrastructures to serve the researchers within the Social Sciences and Humanities.
The programme does so by sponsoring and realizing concrete projects around:
- Handling personal data
In this cluster project we develop tooling for handling personal data within research in compliance with the GDPR. - Survey and experimental data
Under this header we group the activities around (online) collection and dissemination of experimental data collected in UU laboratories, like in that of the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics and Experimental Lab for Sociology and Economics (ELSE). - Corpora
Under corpora we group all the activities which deal with the creation, deployment, and dissemination of text corpora. - Analytical tooling
Under the header of analytical tooling, we cluster all the tools and training developed for analysis, specifically of corpora.
